Following the results of the working meeting of labor collectives held on October 01 this year, in order to provide social and moral support in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to re-pay all employees of the Kazakhmys Group a one-time payment in the amount of 100 thousand tenge per hand.

With this decision, the company supports the appeal of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on social responsibility of business.
In order to prevent and counter the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection, the company implements a set of protective measures at production sites in the form of providing specialized equipment, disinfection and personal protection. According to the immunization program, 15,000 Kazakhmys employees were vaccinated against flu in September-October at the expense of the company.
At the same time, within the framework of social responsibility of business and in order to improve the level of medical services in the cities of Zhezkazgan, Satpayev, Balkhash, the company purchased medical equipment for medical institutions, allocated funds for the material and technical equipment of hospitals and training of medical staff, and purchased and transferred 30,000 doses of flu vaccines to clinics for vaccination of the population. To attract highly qualified medical staff to these regions, it was decided to purchase 52 apartments for medical workers.
At the beginning of the month, a one-time financial assistance in the amount of 30,000 tenge was provided to certain categories of socially vulnerable segments of the population of the cities of Zhezkazgan, Satpayev, Balkhash, according to the lists submitted by local executive bodies, as well as to certain low-income categories of the company's pensioners and unemployed disabled workers of the Kazakhmys enterprises.
In General, the company has invested about 17 billion tenge to support its employees, the population of the cities where it operates, healthcare institutions, and the fight against COVID-19.
