Collective agreement for 2017-2019 was signed in Kazakhmys. Labor relationship will be governed on the basis of the document between the employer and staff of Kazakhmys enterprises within the next three years. The main feature of the document signed by the management of corporation and leaders of trade unions – is preservation of all social guarantees for person of labor. Fundamental rights of employees such as right to occupational safety, career growth, respectable salary and paid leave are indicated in agreement.
Furthermore, document provides one-time payments as a result of occupational accident or occupational disease leading to disability. Particularly, in the event of loss of breadwinner, his relatives are paid out with tenfold annual average earning of an employee. Sevenfold annual average earning is paid out in case of first group of disability and consequently twofold annual average earning in case of second group of disability. Moreover, according to the new agreement child birth one-time benefits in the amount of KZT 25 thousand and receipt of sectoral government awards amounting from KZT 50 to 200 thousand will be reinstated.
Corporation will continue to invest significant financial means to improvement of labor conditions, occupational safety, professional training of employees and youth policy.

We created a document which is the guarantor on observance of employees’ rights and where relationships between the company and its labor collective are clearly specified.
